    1. Thank you so much Erogene, at the moment I am not sure how much time I would have to complete commissioned pieces, although I have been trying to figure out a way of selling my work online and perhaps having a small component of that being commissioned work. I am still working it all out, but when anything like that happens, you will be the first to know!

  7. Something about the texture, made me want to reach out and touch the screen. Tactile art is such a powerful element because it is rarely achieved (for me) but when it does it evokes memories and emotions. Gorgeous piece.

  12. Hi Ruby, it'r Kate here - we rode a miniature train together! I'm LOVING your blog and these portraits of Casper are wonderful. I had a look at the others as well and it was a hard choice, but I had to come back to this one as my favourite so far. Not sure why - something about the shape of him and the colours and the expression on his face. I'm very sheepish about sharing my blog now, as yours is so very good, but here it is:

    1. Ah! Hi Kate, what a lovely message to wake up to this morning, thank you, a lot of people are saying that this one is their favourite. I think I'm too involved to call any of them my favourite, in fact most of the time I don't really like my paintings until a few months/years after I do them. But I appreciate that it's just the way I process things and that they are worth putting out there. Does that make sense? It does in my head! Popping over to your blog now, oh wasn't that party awesome?
