I love the watchful look in the second portrait and the action in the first. It's such a lovely, intimate thing to spend that time capturing a moment from your little ones life. I'm inspired to get out some paints!
As always, beautiful, beautiful paintings! And those snails are so great!! We have crazy giant slugs here after it rains. One of our favorite activities is collecting them from the sidewalks before they dry out. Such fun.
The colours in the trike painting are superb. And love your snails too. When I was about 10 I found all the snails in my dad's garden, painted their shells gold, with the date and then let them go. Years later we were still finding those gold shells in the garden. We don't really get snails up here, must be too hot. mel x
this is going to be such a wonderful gift for you little boy when he is older. Do you think you will print them in a book? I'm not surprised you couldn't narrow it down, they are both fantastic! xx
